20 Kiosks Built in Japanese Village for Jakpreneurs

Total 20 kiosks at Kampung Jepang (Japanese Village), Sakura Beach, Untung Jawa Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands, Thousand Island will be used by fostered entrepreneurs (Jakpreneurs).

Untung Jawa Island urban Village Head, Supriyadi said, those kiosks were designed to have strong Japanese nuance as its attractive points.

"We build these kiosks with Japanese Village theme to make it looks iconic," he conveyed, Thursday (4/29).

Regent Monitors Japanese Village Construction Progress

According to him, mechanism and pattern of kiosks distribution will be determined after Japanese Village construction is completed.

"Currently, its construction progress has touched 95 percent. Hopefully this new tourist destination can attract more tourists and give positive impacts, especially to people's economy," he stated.

For information, Japanese Village construction is realized through collaboration between Thousand Islands Regency and PT. Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java (PHE ONWJ) and PT. Pertamina Patra Niaga in corporate social responsibility (CSR) program.
